Hi, what gauge wire is best to use, to run power feed from battery to fuse box. (extra fuse box to feed map lights etc) cheers

I think on the Vehicle Wiring Products (VWP) website it has how many amps each wire gauge is suitable for (look at vehicle thinwall stuff). If you work out what you want to run off it and add a bit and pick a wire thickness suitable based off that I think you should be OK

map lights are not massive wattage. fit the connection to the back of the fag lighter, or even the dash light switch wiring.

.75mm2 wire is sufficient, and maybe look at putting the next size up fuse in.
