View Full Version : Just a quick question ...
Basically the Mrs is insured on my car which Ive now decided I want to take PVS. Could I get daily insurance even though there is already a policy on the car?
Who is the registered keeper??
Then i dont think you can,im sure when i took out a day on my mates car it specified you must not be the registered keeper
Hmmm .... I know it said you must be employed :/ lol
I'm sure some of them do, as I've seen some advertise the fact you could use it to collect a car you just bought (therefore technically its your name on the V5)
Mind you, how come your mrs is insured on your car but you aren't? I thought usually the primary driver had to be the person named on the V5

My insurance lapsed about a month back and had no intention of renewing it because I'm currently out of work. The cambelt slipped on the Mrs Tigra so I said she can use the Corsa whilst that gets fixed so then she transfered the insurance over for one month declaring its just a temporary car whilst the other is getting fixed. (Shes insured with Admiral).

You cannot have more than one policy on a vehile at the same time. Just add your name to her insurance. I added the missus to my policies and it brought the annual price down and the same for her renewal with me on it.
Shes with her whole family on the insurance and I refuse to get involved lol I'll just tell her to transfer it back over then.
