The Ascona-Manta wheels have offset 30 to 37 ( the alu ones are usually 5.1/2 - 6")
The Nova ones are 47.5 to 49
So........ its is time either for harder springs or...less load.....or repair shop widening the rear arches
NOT TO FORGET that by changing the offset you have steering geometry problems and bearings/shafts problems in latertime
Since as they say ....a picture is a 1000 words.....:

grind em, bend em, pull em... you only need to 'invent' 15mm :d
