So then, Northern (well its more like Birmingham, but thats the north too :P ) Italy got knobbed by a big earth quake last week. I then come out here for a week for work (playing with Huayras is hard work honest) and get greeted with this, this morning

I had literally just walked into the Pagani factory and was talking with the guys when the ground 'bounced', kinda like when a car goes past in a multi story, and I thought nothing of it. Then a few moments later the ground started to wobble around. We haul ass outside and the movement eventually stopped.

I've never experienced an earthquake/tremor before so that has screwed me up for the day/week (doubt I'll sleep much now).

I understand completely... Suffice to say I'll be glad when the plane takes off on Friday.
We had another shake at lunchtime. There have been 5 quakes/tremors today, two were felt here.

What's the rule then, run outside to see what is likely to fall down or hide under something strong?

I was awake in bed when that happened, my cat sat up and started nervously looking around about a minute before it happened, then it all started shaking, i was like :wtf:

Went in a disused underground railway tunnel a few days later too, probably very silly lol

The ones the UK gets are just simple 'bang' done. But every man and his dog say "ohhh I felt it in scotland etc" lol

Had another last night apparently, but I slept through it :D

the rule is, GTFO of a building and stand outside laughing :S

lol the UK has had a bunch of tiny ones bar the low 5.0's. Apparently anything less than a 4.0 is barely noticeable. I'm happy to stay living in the UK :)

Experienced my first proper earthquake in Japan last year. Knew it was time to get outside when the japanese were heading for the door. To be fair this was 4 months after the major earthquake/tsunami and the building we were in still had the reminders of it!!

Weird feeling indeed. lol my other experience was in the pub! Was that violent but quick, i spilt my beer. Most annoyed!
