gear linkage

alright just fitted me 16v into me nova and just wondering if anyone had any trouble with there gear linkage? and does anyone know about the alternator bracket? can you change it? ive heard you put a astra diesel bracket on!!

if anyone can help that will be great!!

Hes to scared to get the big old hammer on the chassis leg :!:
Dont know that but thats my guess.

nah got the engine in bit of a pain to get the hammer to it!! twisted the white bit on the gear linkage but the back bit dont line up!!
