Single 40 carb

I was thinking about running twin 40's on my 1.3 engine once its rebuilt. However the fuel intake is just way too much. So i thought about a 32/34 webber, but would prefer a tad more power...

So can i run a single 40 carb? and what would it run like compared to a 32/34?

its very possible, BUt you'd ahve to get the manifold fabricated. i know mini's used a singe T40 unit, but they had naff heads lol

ive also seen manifolds for the ford x flow and a single t 40, so its possible, jsut the manifold will be hard to come by/make
