i am 20 years old, first year of driving (about to start my 2nd year) and i paid £210 a month to insure my nova, 1.2, 5 door merit.

i had a tiny bump, was doing about 5mph and he slammed the brakes on for no reason, no damage to the taxi i hit, and i fixed my car, the taxi man claimed for whiplash.

now looking for quotes next year and the cheepest i could see was with the co-op again, and that is 3600 a year! :o

ive looked on all the compair sites and they are quoting 4000(ish).

what is my best step, i need a car to travel to and from work, and to and from sport at the weekends :s. can i get classic insurance on my car? its a G Reg. how much difference will a 1L make? or do i have to somehow find £3600.

Jake.

classic is usually limited mileage and no commuting iirc, tried sky, flux or hic
