Rx8 seats

Seen some nice seats out of an rx8 for sale, just wondering if they will fit in my 3 door mk2 nova. ? Any body came across this before ?

get your tape measure out.

welding a nova seat base to another seat isn't too hard a job, as long as they fit. do the mazda ones have a tilt forward lever??

I doubt they have a tilt forward lever and if they don't your mates will have to clime in thru the tailgate like a mates old clio lol

that's the thing.. i know the little suicide door is there for the rear passengers, but surely the seat still needs tilting to make room.

I've got RX7 seats in mine, it has a fibreglass base so we just drilled holes through that and mounted the nova base onto them, The RX7 seats have tilt forward on them, unsure how similar the RX8 ones are

I'm just getting one fixed back bucket seat so everyone can just get in the passenger side lol

Yes the do tilt forward. Anyone know the height inside a nova ?

Height wise will be fine, heres RX7 seats in mine
