whats best for my xe nova

hi all i have a c20xe nova, fast road cams, verniers and a fse boost valve,

what i want to know is: do i get a 4-1 manifold off the early atsra gte or a oversized 4-2-1
manifold (from autosprint)

so whats best to use opinions welcome cheers :thumb:

BTB make Nice XE manifolds, about as good as it comes........ Fairly expensive though.


Ditch the FSE con valve and get some ITB's on there.

ide love some tb's mate but havent got the money for em mite try an get some by the end of year.

and the astra gte manifold is oversized (more than standard 1s anyway)

I guess it depends what your after in the end.

ITB's can be found for sensible money.

Nitrous could be a bit of fun, should be good for 25 or 50 bhp worth....

Much cheaper than ITB's

I had a stainless china rubbish but never bothered putting it on as it was crap tbh.....


I then was going to get a btb manifold but ended up breaking the car for parts, It might be over sized for you but would have been perfect for my power goal (230)

Pffft everyone is scared of nitrous.......

I guess they are for what he wants but with a port matched head they are what you want for over 220 odd hp..

i believe the 4-1 are better for hi end and the 4-2-1 are good throughout the rev range, could be wrong its just what i got told, what about something like this

seems fairly good for the money, i know BTB are excellent manifolds but you pay top wack for these and dont ever find these going on the cheap, as with anything you get what you pay for

I used to run an Sbd one when I had the xe made a difference but again they ain't cheap
