rite, been putting the crank bolts in on an early 20XE, is this rite...

stage 1 torque down to 50nm
stage 2 +40 degrees, and then -60 degrees..?

it doesn't sound rite doing the -60 and then leaving it :wtf:

thats what iv got anyway

yes that what my autodata says for a 91-93 astra f if thats early enough

see i done that but it doesn't sound rite mate, plus 40' then loosen it back off 60'? does it not mean torque to 50nm them plus somewhere between 40 and 60?

it does sound weird have you tried to download a pdf of a haynes manuel for a car with that engine and see what haynes says
