Has anyone got experience of using a brake bias box with astra GTE 256 mm brakes (delco callipers)? If so what size master cylinders were used, and were they any good?
256mm calipers are ATE.
the crappy delco were 236 vents.

I stand corrected. They are the 'one piece' calipers (look like nova callipers but bigger) as opposed to the later Astra calipers, which I believe had a separate carrier.
please, unless you have wheel clearance issues, get some 256's fitted. cav/cally/vectra b, all had them.
do a google search for 'pngclub brake bias pedal box'
the png search only allows larger words, but google will provide your answers

0.625 for the front brakes, then try a 0.700 for the rears...are you fitting a hydraulic handbrake?

Cheers. I drove a 205 on 206 GTi 180 brakes. that has a 0.625 front master cylinder. The stopping power was great and the pedal feel was good. But they had 54mm pistons and 280mm discs, both quite a bit bigger than an Astra. But if someone has the 256mm setup and can tell me it is not going to kill me I'd be happy :thumb: I've designed a pedal box with 6:1 pedal ratio, so all should be about right.
Not going hydraulic handbrake at the moment. I have a couple of weeks to my next rally so need to get it rolling again. But hydraulic will come when I get some rear discs sorted.
To clear up any confusion these are the calipers. I just measured the discs at 256mm
