Eek is it ok to come in my nova as I couldn't get the Astra re-tested and taxed in time due to many reasons out of my control. (apart from drinking yesterday instead of fixing the astra) lol

Wonderful weekend as ever. Everyone once again was a credit to the club and If we want to go back next year we will be welcome. This always pleases me hugely!
I want to give a special mention to Matt who this year took on the role of Events Coordinator and basically single handedly ran the day from bookings to the cooking, even the late night balloon entertainment, right down to organizing trophies for the show and shine with no doubt help from Mrs Hobbit., so all thanks for the day should be directed firmly at him and the wifey!

Yep have to agree, Matt did an amazing job, and provided some cracking entertainment in the form of balloons, glow sticks and a V6 lol

Great day out cheers to mowgli and John for bringing the bits for me, good bit of banter as always and since getting back the rear beam is fitted and new copper lines made and fitted to the van so the brakes are ready for bleeding, also got round to paneling up the 206 wi dave so a productive day tbf no picks but the van is on it's wheels on the drive for the first time in months :-)

So gutted me and Claire missed it this year really wanted to go aswell. Poss going to miss PVS this year aswell which makes it worse. I'm glad you all had fun though .

Well I'm nursing a massive hangover today, it was a good day on Sunday and good to catch up with you all at long last, and a massive sorry to Rich for spilling me beer all over his seat :(
I'm feeling the urge to buy another nova though now after seeing some stunning examples, also surprised at how many MK1's turned up on the weekend, only one [real] MK2 :eek:
A big thanks to all involved though for putting on a great event, the burger were cooked to perfection btw Hobbit :d Hope to see you all again next year. :thumb:

Just got back in now after the weekend, had to make a detour as a mate phoned me on the way home, he had been sat with a flat battery in ferrybridge services since about 10pm last night so i had to buy some jump leads and go bail him out lol
Massively enjoyed the weekend, always a gutting feeling to drive away on your own after being with everyone all weekend, oh well roll on billing :d

Just got home. Thank you everyone for coming, you guys are what make these events so enjoyable. Also the campsite was left in a really great state with no rubbish, I also popped my head into see the guys that run the campsite and they were very happy with us. As Lee says you are a credit to the club.
On a more personal note, massive thanks to Mowgli for fitting my pulse converter, the rev limiter seems to be around 6.5k so I reckon you got it set up spot on. Really chuffed I can keep my Nova dial and not have to fit cav ones. Also cheers to Lee for having a fiddle with my clutch, still slips a tiny bit but it got me home.
Donna may get some pics up tonight, if not it will be tomorrow. :)

Me and Jack got back home at some point mid afternoon and then enjoyed a mini national with some left over Cider and a weird yellow ball in the sky in my garden.
Had a brill weekend as per usual. And the weather held out much better than we thought it would.
Great to see everyone again and I would like to add the thanks to Hobbit for the planning of the event, cooking of the food and supplying the evenings entertainment in the form of balloons. :)
Wish I could say see you at Billing but the stoopid Olympics are stopping me having a life this summer..so See you all nexy year.
P.S. Jack will be adding pics at some point over the next couple of days after he has woken up.

Yes I must admit I was only there for Sunday but hobbit did a great job of everything that day including cooking on the loonaque to arranging the Nova show awards. Top man. :thumb:

Have finally sat down and enjoyed a meal that doesn't include pig nor cow. Very refreshing...
A really enjoyable weekend as usual, was good to see everyone and some new nova's.
Thanking Lee for upgrading the Loonaque with a hot plate this year, I think this aided Hobbits burger flipping skills - we were all fed very well :thumb:
I also want to thank Mowgli for sorting out Hobbits pulse convertor. The ride home was alot smoother :d

Those night shots are epic, considering it was properly pitch black it looks more like sunrise!!
Pretty straight forward, just long exposure really. Ideally need to be on manual focus though as the autofocus will probably struggle in the dark
i did both of those and yet it refused to take the picture
We can have a fiddle (oo-er lol) next time we're at a show. Still not sure if I'm doing Billing this year though :(

looked like an amazing time was had by all, im slightly gutted i couldn't be their but a stag weekend in newcastle turned out to be the best weekend of my life plus i got to see a MINT white gsi parked in the city center so win all round in my eyes :)
