i have fitted the carb but would like to know what to do with the fuel return pipe, and should the advance and retard be blocked off or not?

the Weber doesnt have a fuel return so blank the return off at the tank somehow.

Can't quite remember the layout of the Weber carb but I'm pretty sure you need the dizzy advance vacuum line...T it off the brake servo pipe if you can't figure any other way of doing it

I've put mine in today on my 1.3. I've used the vapour separator from the 2e3 carb rather than t the return as it will do the same thing. connect the vacuum to the back of the carb. Just make sure you get the correct jets for it. It took a while to keep it going and adjusting the mixture/ throttle etc. I bought mine awhile back and rebuild it so I needed to see if it all worked before I sell my 2e3 and manifold.

I never fit a gasket between the inlet and adapter plate as I read on hear it doesn't need it! Is it the same one that came off the 2e3?

You definately need the vac line connected for advance, otherwise you'll get no torque

well you could not have it connected but your drives will be very longlol
