Is there a way of refurbing polycarbonate windows?

It looks as if they've got a sun tan lol

They might be bronze poly's? lol

Try some brasso, if they're scratched up/yellowed.

ammonia based cleaners, like brasso will not help, they can eat into the surface. i think its a case of chucking them & getting new ones. maybe if you can find a decent plactic deoxidiser, from somewhere like a boat supplies place, you might clean them up

Odd, because the last set of windows I saw that were scratched to **** came up perfect with brasso, which is a fantastically cheap alternative to buying new ones.

I'll try in a corner with each of the above at the weekend and I'll let you know how I get on and see who's worked best ;)

I'm sure I've had good results with brasso too. Obviously melts it just enough to smooth out any scratches

Cif would be alright aswell

Cif leaves anything dull as it's quite gritty, from what I've seen anyway, great for cleaning but not so much for 'polishing' a fine surface.

people.. the op's not got scratching, but oxidisation. if the screen has gone 'suntanned' it is breaking down & getting brittle. shed windows do the same & they are pretty much beyond saving when they go brown

I'll give that a go, they're not so much sun tanned, they look more frosted if that makes sense
