As per title folks. An empty bay pic would be even better :)

Yep ECU is bolted to cut outs on the brake pedal/servo metal work behind the glove box (ecu has captive bolts). On the SRi at least, not sure about the C16 GSi the loom is integrated into the car loom and passes through a large grommet just behind the passenger side turret. It's a bit of a laugh removing the ECU loom.....

i have bought 2 old efi looms (cheap) to move my e16se ign ecu, fuel relay, and any other assorted bits inside the car... i know i don't exude tidiness at the best of times, but it really irks me that all this stuff is exposed

Rover put the mini cooper stuff under the bonnet, I haven't had problems with this yet but as soon as there is a hiccup....a carb 1275 will be going in.

The late Nova's are also coilpack, but the loom is still on the passenger side as per my pic.

John: What do you need a pic of? where the loom comes through OEM?

This. Mine is an orignal SRi with coil pack.

Most J plate and some K plate 92 MY cars are dizzy, all 93MY are coilpack. All C16SE's fitted in a Nova are coilpack.

Here's the original SRi loom entry to the bay. Mine is a custom loom for the DTA but the original car loom is in there (the pic I posted earlier in the thread was stripping the ECU loom from the car - nightmare!). The original loom splits as you can see mine does and had similar plastic wrap over the top:

p.s I know the wiper motor mount needs paint lol

I can confirm that my c16 GSI loom enters at the same point , and the ecu lives in the same place.
