Diesel to petrol conversion.

Howdy all! Its been a while since i posted in here but basically I'm possibly acquiring a Nova 1.5 non-turbo diesel.

Before I get it, I want to know whats involved in ripping the oil burning stove out and swapping with something not quite so limp-wristed.

Probably an E16SE/C16SE type swap.

I have searched but all I can find is the opposite??

Best bet would be find someone with a petrol who wants to do a derv conversion (there's a few out there) and swap everything over. Or, easier, just swap cars. lol

Fab'ing up new mounts isn't an issue. I'm currently helping fit a Civic engine in a MK1 Panda so I doubt it'd be as hard as that!

Fuel tank/lines?

Would it not be better to put a 1.5/1.7TD, be easier

I plan on going fast, not keeping myself warm on a Sunday so the stove is going!
