c20let nova saloon

got this saloon of pistonheads a few months back. first plan was to keep it clean and std as i was already doing a c20let nova but the 1.2 engine in the saloon was on its last legs. i think the lad i had it of just thrashed the life out of it. so anyway i sold the c20let nova as a unfinished project and got to work on this.

bit gutted i could not hide boost pipes but there is no room so had to cut front panel

yes mate its not bad it could do with some arches soon but they can wait till winter and it will come of road to be striped down and some time spent on it.

just got a new project to start so going to use the saloon for the summer why i do the engine change into the viva then will do full respray on the saloon next winter.

Saloon's lovely.. put it on steelies and it'll be some sleeper :thumb:.. Looks like a nice Nova underneath that sheet in the background too :)

are they 14 x 5.5 ? i was wondering if they fit over 256 brakes

no mate these are 15inch. the brown one was on 14inch they wont fit over 256 brakes inless you shave the caliper down alittle

ah, the larger 15" cavalier expression wheels. they came on astra gte champions too right ?

shame about the 14's . ive seen even smaller, nova lux possibly ? did the same in 13"

Looks pretty serious now with a LET in, nice to see someone else modding a viva, I wanted a 2.0 8v for my old SL when I had it but it never went ahead. Top work though :thumb:

ye mate the novas ok with the let in its only on a t3 turbo. i said i would not do another with a let as its abit overkill and cant really use the power but there good fun its plenty in fwd really just spins up to easy so hope the viva will put the power down abit beta. have you got a pic of your old viva?
