As the title says really.
Is it possible/difficult to make calibra heated seats work?
Do they have a single heat setting or multiple?
And is it just a case of running the relevant wires from the battery to a switch?
Thanks for any help

To be honest its quite easy, they only have a single heat setting. I did it on my nova you need a live from the fuse box, best to use fuse 18 as this is only live when the ignition is on. This goes to both switches, both switches need to be earthed and you also need a feed for the illumination if you want the switches to light up when you turn on the lights. I took mine from the cigarette lighter bulb. Each switch then has to have a cable coming off it to the seat and each seat needs its own earth as well. If you run the cables to the seats under the carpet be careful you dont trap the cables anywhere. The main problem is where to mount the switches, if you have a mark 2 with leccy windows you can prise the small panel out between the switches and they fit in there. If you have a mark 1 there is a switch blank next to the rear wiper switch you can use which should already have a picture of a heated seat on it. Heres mine

In a calibra the earth from the seats goes back to the battery negative terminal and main power is from the cigarette lighter. Illumination can be taken as mentioned from the light ring on the cigarette lighter
