Racetech fuel gauge with standard sender

I am thinking of swapping the standard Nova fuel gauge for a Racetech one mounted for my navigator to see. I have heard it is possible to connect the Racetech gauge to the standard in tank sender, has anyone had experience of this?


Does it work?
Do you get full deflection on the gauge, i.e. does a full tank show as a full tank?
Is the gauge sufficiently dampened so as it isn't bouncing all over the place the turning etc?

you must check the resistance/compatability. but as this is not a model specifiy part, i guess there will be some sort of adjustment screw

why not simply relocate the nova one on the other side of the dash????
