Gear box castle nut

Does any one know any tricks on removing this from gear box to get diff out cause I tried using a bit of steel bar and it broken some of the teeth thanks dan

How many lugs have you snapped off? if it's only a couple the tool will still work. if not just pinch one out of a scrap gearbox. if you do that, i'd renew the diff bearing.

5 so far lol will be ok to go back in

So there's plenty of lugs left then. As you can see the tool holds every tooth, so i reckon you'll be fine to re-fit it.
