Alternator problem

Brought a new alternator less than 2 weeks ago, started the nova today to here a rattling noise, further inspection and it seems or sounds to be the bearings are shot in it.
How can this be possible in 2 weeks?

Faulty bearing

at £77 quid, it shouldnt be effing faulty! lol.
Phoning about a replacement tomorrow hopefully under warranty of some kind!

where did you get it from? did you keep the receipt?

Check the bottom pulley is not loose as I believed that my alternator was noisy and it turned out to be the bottom pulley.
