1.2 8v head on 1600 block

Can i fit my 1.2 8v head on 1600 8v block and run it usin my 1200 manifold and carb i plan on fitting twin choke eventually this evey been done thanks john

it will work. use a 1.6 head gasket. you might have some fun with the exhaust, as the 1.2 one is crap.

you will also need an F13 gearbox, as the 1.6 has a larger flywheel & the starter is sat further out to suit. don't believe anyone who tells you otherwise. the f13 is a straight fit on the f10 mounts, and if yours is only a 4speed, you will be needing to modify the gear linkage under the stick.

possibly, but super unleaded should be ok.
