how many coats of paint should you ideally use? im doing the insides of some spokes and im not sure how many coats to use, i thought 3 (4 including primer)

I just did two primers and 3 top on my cesaros. But that was just for me, I would have taken better care if I was doing it for someone else or to sell on.

depends what paint your using, if its covered well and you cant see through it then theres no point in putting more on!ive just painted some rims for mine and a gte, in mettalic base coat and laqure.3 coats paint, 3 coats laqure

as said completely depends on what paint you use. at work it has two coats of base and 2 lacquer

I do 2 primer, 3 colour, 2 lacquer

1 primer 1 topcoat lol if im doing a quick job i use rattle cans

1 can of primer between 2 wheels and a 1 can each wheel of topcoat

same here, done this on the alloys on my vectra. done 50k miles (3years) on them and were still pretty good.

Do that on everything.

Oh lol sorry i thought that was the final sanding stage then to be polished.. oops.

Ah the one above as been polished up... Are the spokes all done? They look a bit misty...
