Been thinking about putting a 2.0/2.3 T In my mk2 Astra gte, does anyone know what needs to be done? Is it hard? I was under the impression it was the same mounts if you run an f20 box?
someone has done this with major surgery on the rh chassis leg.

Cut and weld surgery? Or big hammer surgery?

if you were prepared to modify the gearbox mounts & slide the engine over to the left a bit, it would mount reasonably easily. the driveshaft clearances would need to be checked, and possibly the odd shim or bit of machining done to sort it out. but hacking the rh chassis leg out is going to be some fairly hard work to get right. it has been done & pics were on here.
