Can anyone tell me what the 'ORANGE' light with the electric sign in the middle of it that is in the centre of the instrument panel means.

I dont know as i haven't got a Nova GSI handbook.

That light should be the Engine management warning light. Which means you either have a problem in the ECU or the sensor itself (more likley if car running o.k.)

it used to light up on mine when i started it for about 5 mins when i changed my alarm it stoped lol

mine used to come on after i'd filled up with petrol. the octane plug was the wrong type. changed it (few pence) but had to pay ?35 for a code read to tell me the problem.yours could be any number of things, i'd recomend getting it checked out

Yup its the engine management light. Could be something to do with your recent engine loom problems.

Pop down to your local dealer and get the fault code read off.
