basically ne1 kno an insurance company that does this as me mate wants to go and get this saloon but his mum sed hes not driving it unless he gets insurance and bein as hes just got a delivery job its praps not such a gd idea risking getting the points

Ring up your insurance and ask them for a cover note!

i dont have insurance i dont have a licence but me m8 does have a licence but he hasnt got a car at the mo so he aint insurance at the mo either

Dont know if it can be done, just ring around places such as Liverpool Victoria, CIS etc.

im also looking into summit like that, in october, me mom is going on holiday for a few weeks (party at mine then everyone!) and she wants to give me the car to use in that time, not complaining, its a W-reg 1.2 16v corsa c, too standard though, so il have to do some work to it whilst shes anyway, lol, anyway, i was wonering if short term policies can be taken out?

yes i have been quoted over ?200 for insurance for a day on a mk1 XR2.

C1S did me temp cover when i crashed my nova. Pay weekly for a maximum of 4 weeks. Can't remember how much tho.

phone someone like norwich union direct and take out a policy for it

as long u dont crash it u can cancel it within the first 14 days and dont pay a penny ;)

u sure aragorn surely thats abit of a con and u could keep doing that and never have to pay a penny for insurance

my mates dad did that with a capri, soon ran out of insurance companies though!

Wanted over ?4k for a year and nearly ?800 for a month, only wanted it so i could drive the car to work whilst mine was in for a service.
