Baby deer if it's going to fit in a space like that... If it was a full grown then the BMW would've smashed the whole front end in, and the deer would've walked off...
Anyone who had a PS2 should remember THISADVERT (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=T4tOvkvCvwQ)!!!

if it was a full sized deer, like a red deer, then it would have had its legs knocked from under it & its body wouls have gone thru the windscreen, doing in the front seat occupants. my mrs is a nurse & she had to look after a woman who drove round a bend to hit a loose pony. she was on life support for several months and then i believe they turned the machines off.
a muntjak deer is the size of a dog. they are everywhere, & have zero road sense.

Is there any animal that really has any road sense?
there are plenty of animals that think oops, i'd better get out of the way... but a muntjak's defence is to stand still. they were originally chinese forest deer, then some idiot brought some into the uk as exotic pets, then they escaped.
i had to rebuild a bmw that hit a dear. ****ing stank!! as i took each radiator off i had to go and jet wash it, proper minging
i once had to do an insurance quote on a tractor that got hit at speed by a motorbike, killing the rider instantly... it is a smell i'll never forget. we were pulling various panels & guards off and removing body parts.i don't intend to do that ever again
