I'm personally a fan of the Dewalt Extreme 2 sets, normally around the fifty pound mark

These (http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/DeWalt-Extreme-2-Metal-Drillbit-Set-29-Piece-/110868432100?pt=UK_Home_Garden_PowerTools_SM&hash=item19d04604e4) are the ones I have

I've used them for about the last three years, and they have been great very rarely snap and thats in a cordless drill, drilling stainless and ali everyday

We got a box of silverline drills from the local engineering supplies van man, 2-10mm in .5mm increments, then when they break/wear, we replace with skf ones from the proper engineers supplies place.
