What's your download limit Bubba? You might of reached it.

Shouldn't D/C you for a download limit, just whack you up an angry page.

Is it the LAN or WAN connection that drops?

I'm betting on channel hopping. Out of the box most routers are on channel 1 & 6. In high usage(i.e loads of people with the same routers/wifi in general) areas the routers will talk to each other to either negotiate a channel hop (which disconnects you temporarily) or they will agree to pause and send data in turn, these pause frames slow down your connection and makes any kind of media streaming impossible.

There is nothing wrong with the HH2 really as a basic wifi box. You just need to configure it to suit your situation. Log in, choose advanced settings, go to WiFi and set the channel manually to channel 13. See how you get on, my bet is that it'll be much better.

i did try channel 6 as it was an empty channel, everything else is on 3 or 7. and it went from 36mbps to 135mbps so was much stronger.

its the LAN. it was booting my phone as well. hub said it was still connected to BB with its little blue light bit it wouldnt let anything connect, whether it was wifi or ethernet.

Have you checked with BT to see if there is a fault? Does the hub report being connected on the config pages - you can check the ADSL line stats too.

Have you added a new device recently or changed any other configs in the hub such as DHCP etc?
