got a right problem here ill try to explain as simply as possible:

. 3 weeks ago my hazard light (mk2) switch broke
. then i fitted an installed my digi dash (not sure if this is relevent)

.all was ok apartfrom having no hazard lights which means i have no indicators,

then this week ibrought a new switch from vaux (grrr)
and put it in, now when the swich pins make contact ie push it in to refit the new one the relay down by my fusebox is buzzing like a ****

the onlytime it stops buzzing is wen the hazard lights r flashing, or wen i indicate either left or right the nwen i turn them off it goes bak to buzzing again,

how can istop this and wat is the cause? coz i got my mot soon and it wont pass with this problem and i liek to use me indicators sumtimes lol

thanx all help apprectaite.

sounds like a bad earth, take them out and have a little look to see if anything is shorting out.

When fitting the Digi Dash did you alter any of the wires to the indicators?

sounds like youve connected the green/white/black from the nova loom to both the green/black and white/black on the astra loom

this causes a short and thats why its clicking away

u need to run a wire from the respective color on the back of the hazard switch OR from the indicator stalk instead of using the combined nova one

(iirc the original nova wire is connected to ground thru the bulb, the astra dash is connected to 12v thru the bulb - so when u connect it up the way u have ur basically pumping 12v into the wrong place on yer switch/relay)
