Doesn't look horrendous, bearing in mind its sat up on bolts at the mo. But still not quite my cup of tea.

Is it from a 406 or something? You could try maybe chopping the legs down a bit so it sits lower, then be similar to some of these:

i think one on the roof and one on the boot,
or a cossy whale tail would suit it with having a boot but dont know how you would lift boot up
