Poor X16XE Fuel consumption

Hi what parts could effect the fuel consumption on the corsa currently doing about 200 miles to £50.Any sensors???Thanks

If you know someone with a scanner ask them to plug it in and just make sure the coolant temp sensor is reading correctly .

Tbh honest that sounds bang on if your x16xe is lightly modified.

Really?i though that was quite poor ive been told it could also be MAF sensor any ideas

You'll stuggle to find the MAF on an X16 ;) it uses a MAP sensor - if that had gone you'd know about it.

I thought the mileage to fuel sounded about right too FWIW

I was getting 45 miles to a tenner this time last year on a C16xe with mantzel box fitted so tbh it's probably about right now with the fuel price increased so many times.

standard they are about 35mpg, yours works out at about 25/26mpg depending on the price you pay for fuel, probably heavy foot and/or been slightly modded.

Its the plug on them that differs, just buy one with a matching plug. Usually black or blue.
