Iirc mine wasn't not very loud at all. No problems with fitment. Seemed alright for the money. Although i would keep an eye out for a second hand stainless system.

I have a Sportex on my Sport, which I am quite please with, it is a few years old, but don't think it is too loud, I also havew a 4 branch manifold, which does quieten things

Is this OK?

It should sound about the same as my Ashley one as they are basically the same. With mine it is quiet but when you give it some you get the sound.

I think my tail pipe may be slightly different, but angle/fit should be the same

As someone mentioned a stainless exhaust, I have a Magnex on my SR, for comparison

Sport exhaust was fitted when I got it so don't know, U bolt clamps are cheap to buy if not supplied

Magnex was bought second hand

The donut should be available from any decent motor factors/exhaust shop, you may be able to use your existing one anyway, the bolts/springs should be easy to come by if needed.

I have to disagree, i had nothing but trouble with my sportex exhaust on my sri, the fitment was absloute dog ****e! I had a friend with the same problem on his mk3 astra. Things may have changed as this was a good 4-5 yrs ago. I would reccomend ashley over sportex all day long.
