I have the battery in the boot now and a chunky cable running down the drivers side of the car. I want to run a cable from the drivers footwell area (from a distribution block) through the old choke cable hole to the starter motor. Is there any problems with this?
Also I want to remove the other chunky red wire running from the battery to the wiper motor area. Is this just the positive feed for the fuse box? As far as I can tell it basically runs from the battery across the car, in through the passenger side loom entrance back across the car behind the dash and too the fuse box where is splits into various feeds? Is it possible to just leave the thick red disconnected and reconnect the positive feed near the fuse box?
