Mk1 2dr saloon

This is my new project a mk1 saloon that I picked up from didcot it has a good clean chassis and 35k on the clock and every mot certificate. Got a Corsa b that I'm stripping with a 14nv sr engine that I'm guna use in the saloon for a while entil my 2.0 8v Seh is ready. car looks lovely mate though personally i hate the interior,nobody could have walked into vauxhall looked at that interior and said " that looks lovely" im not having it,

Probably the original one was smashed off..

They stopped supplying the early mirrors fairly quickly iirc..

We used to replace broken mirrors with the later type..

Some people liked them, but some didn't...

Ive got a mate thats been at vauxhall for 30 years and he told me that a passenger sidemirror was extra back then as they thought they weren't needed. I think the interior is great, bit of shocker to began with but I've got use too it, definately keeping it though

How funny.. I've driven this car about 6 years ago... maybe more.

I was working over at Culham Science park and the security guard had got it as payment for clearing some old dead ladies estate of rubbish.
At the time I offered him £450.

It certainly drove well when I was wanging it round the car park :-D

Hopefully have the 14nv in by the end of may gotta source a sr gear box once I get some money in.

any 1 know why I'm Getting popping and banging from the carb, really stuck with this 1
