can some 1 show me a how to guide for fitting the motors to standard mk2 doors as these were ones with crappy window winders

They bolt/rivet in the same place dude.

yeah they fit int he same mounting positions as the old manual winder, i used rivets on mine

winders had 3 holes the motors i have got 4 hole

Check if yours doors and shell have holes to feed the wires through too while your at it. They are centre punched ready to drill

pics would be better as i dont realy know what to look for but theres two punch parts near the top of the door

Wiring is easy to, iirc one earth by the centre console and and plug into the fuse box!

wired them before just never fitted motors mazz

figured it out today just need to holesaw the parts for the wires does any one know any other wiring gromets i can use cant find any nova ones

I used a 20mm hole saw as its a popular grommet size

Had a look at mine today. How does the motor arm mate up with the window? The window base looks different on windy windows to the nylon clip on the end of the electric motor arm?

The nylon clip that is on the EW motor will slot into the metal channel on the glass
