right! 4 months back i was asked to respray my mates gte.when i got there it was cadburys purple with a chequred flag down the sides and a grim reaper on the bonnet!:confused:
horrible body kit and plenty of rustlol
havnt taken many photos, but thought id do a quick build thread as its nearly finished and i can then get on with mine to wich weve started today

painted the bumpers black then decided we didnt like it!

new screen to fit, front seats, paint the wheels and the little odds and ends to do!might get on with mine then!!

That looks great, reminds me of my old mk2 with the grey painted bumpers, in fact with the 1.6 and raised bonnet, you're a set of white multispokes and stripped interior away from a mk1 copy lol

very very nice, raised bonnet doesnt really suit it imo though

quite like the looks of it but not the fact that the bonnet looks like its going to fall off after every bump in the road!

Looks great, liking the semi smooth sides in the bay, you should of repaint all of the bay tho..

thats what i said but its been painted black now and looks a lot better!
will try and get some better snaps of it when im there next, got the wheels to paint at the weekend
