Looking at heat wrapping my manifold but unsure hom much wrap it'll take? A friend has said that the 25mm stuff is more workable and easier for a novice to use but obviously that'll take more to cover, anyone done this recently and can remember how they used please? Thanks in advance

Not sure on length for 2" (double at a guess) but I would use 2" rather than 1" personally as 1" will need more turns (obviously) and not lay as well

For 2" you need @ 25 ft for a manifold

Thanks Roy, have you had a go at it? How did it go if so? Any hint, tips, dos and don'ts?

I did my Range Rover V8 manifolds, I used wire to fix the insulation, and twisted the wire together with pliers, (pikey stylee) you can use jubilee clips at the top of the manifold primaries, but there are some neat stainless ties available.

Example http://www.rimmerbros.co.uk/Item--i-RX1383

Could probably source them cheaper
