mk1 clocks

soooo....how hard is it to get out a set of mk1 clocks?? i want to 'freshen them up' if its an easy job lol

its mainly a case of levering them out carefully, to minimise damage to the clocks or dash. Pushing the speedo cable as far as it will go through the bulkhead from the engine bay will make it easier

removing the steering wheel will make it miles easier too

Usually tilting them backwards at the top will release them then work them out.
Put both hands face down on the lens and press with your fingertips, the top should drop back and bottom wil come up and out to get you fingers under there

steering wheel is already off mate in the process of fitting a snap on boss so thats why i thought about the clocks :)
