righty im kind of new to the nova "scene" at the moment so trying to get loads of ideas and tips from everyone to try and get some knowledge about them as ive only ever had fiestas and polos!

so after owning a mk4 fiesta for about a year or so i decided that i wanted to go a bit more old school and get a nova, so got browsing and found one that looked like it needed some work but was willing to give it a shot.

so few days later i was the new owner of a nova!
this is how it was when i bought it..(not great tbh). the guy before me decided to spray it satin black over the original paintwork which is a terrible job tbh!

should have started this thread a lil sooner as ive had to write it all in one go up to today..sorry! lol.

decided to get straight in with doing bits so smoothed some bits of the boot out and tided up the rear arches.

then decided to get some lower springs for the rear as it was sitting wayy to high for me. (like having a seriusly low car) not to everyones taste but thought it would be different for a nova.

also did a coat of underseal in the back, not too keen on it so going to spray it white to go with the colour of the car.

after about 2 weeks of having the car satin black i decided to get spraying and getting it back to white, so grabed a few cans of paint and ended up with this....

this was also after fitting some small steelies and lowering 100mm at the back.

not the best finish but hey it will do for now....

right so the most up to date pics i have of how it stands now..

Definite improvement over when you bought it pal :thumb: I'm not a big fan of 'slammed' Novas though, they handle like dirt unless done properly
