seem welded the engine bay etc and covered welds with seem sealer

decided to leave original brake pipes as they are in mint condition

so engine bay is finished for now, no doubt i will have to get the grinder out in the near future lol

well now its all covered in white stone chip it looks pants lol so back to the motor factors to purchase a few tins of black :thumb: that should sort the job just nicely lol

had x2 new rear quater pannels fitted, was not best pleased when i found out they had cut my genuine quaters up to repair the arches grrrr:cry: so it was off with the pannels again and new ones fitted as i asked for in the first place.. any way 4 quaters later, one big hole in my pocket and there done :thumb:

sent all parts off for powder coat, well all parts that wouldnt melt on the oven lol..

thanks m8, no running f28 :s yes best break the grinder out and weld the new mount :D.. hmm soft stars 195 45 16 x4 stud..

yes mate, have made my own plates for most of it, engine bay will be stripped down to bare metal again in places as need to fit f28 gbox mount n stuff

Many members have found even with the leg modified or recessed you can still have problems. So If your going to add the F28 mount Id do it at the same time whilst you have an empty engine bay. Comprehensive stitching/plating would also be worth the effort to stop it pulling itself apart in the future also. ;)

so after picking them up from mothers, i had a quick scan threw the tyre stock at work and bought x4 pirelli p zero's.. the tyres were almost twice as much as the wheels but hey no point rolling on hedge finders lol

thanks to the guys at TX auto sport :thumb:

also had trouble with radiator... used a 1.2 nova lux rad and cut the fan switch off to fit snug between the intercooler, it wasnt up to much and didnt want to chance bursting the bitch!! ive already had to take the cams out of the engine as the lifters were horrendously noisey grrr :cry: many spanners were bent and re shaped to get cambelt off haha lol..
