Alas though the weather is crap and there is still traces of salt on the road:mad:
Great machine to go camping with, bags of room, National?
best car ever, mainly because they do a HUGE burnout with ease lol
Probably about the only Rover I'd ever want to own!
Lovely looking example you've got :)
what mpg???? you'd need a second mortgage to go anywhere in that these days..... or do like the veedub boys do & call out the AA for the return trip....

She's not too bad 27mpg on a run, same as the Sport:eek:lol
thats not too bad, and it has something daft like a 2.85:1 diff...so at 70, its doing about tickover, isn't it?
So when you coming to annoy my neighbours and pebbledash the cars outside my house again then lol

Vitesse diff is a 3.08:1 on a manual, early Vitesse / later Vandenplas EFi's autos are 2.84:1 diffs with a 3 speed non lock up auto box
.
She cruises really well, have done 600 miles + in a day no problem, however petrol was cheaper then..........

Well the cav is waiting for new suspension to stop the wheels scrubbing... I don't fancy a 450 mile round trip on ol' scrapey, but 2 tanks of super unleaded isn't ideal either

Last of the great Rovers. Beautiful expamle Roy. Im only just getting slightly more in mpg in the Monaro. Think that sort of MPG is quite liveable really.

I've also been for a ride in an ex-royal protection squad one, blanking plate over 1st gear, gun boxes in the arm rest and boot, extra plating also. It scared the living crap out of me. Super fast
