Digi Dash - trip not working

I've just fitted a digi dash to my Nova, everything works as it should including the speedo, except the odometer/trip recorder. Is this some internal fault? Common problem?

it will be internal if the speedo is working as they are both linked in a circuit if i remeber rightly

If its been stood a whole the numbers are on a metal roller which likes to rust and seize, you will need to whip it out, strip the dash and remove this bit (easy to do as you will find as you do it) and just gunk it in wd40 and you will see how to free it up and or strip it and clean it, fiddly job but not too hard!

ive had the same problem before, i did what spudly said and they worked fine afterwards
