He's got plenty of nova shells knocking about and why not?
Well surely thats got to be long cumbersome and heavy, to be of any real use in grasstracking, surely after the initial novelty wears off after the first minute, then its just boring and annoying?
There used to be a local nova/corsa breakers/repair specialists round here run by a bloke you may have heard of if youre into grasstrackers 'Gav Winters' and he built two nova saloon limos for the road, he mustve driven them both about two or three times then they just sat down the end of his yard rotting away till they got weighed!
Its for banger racing, so thats all extra crumple zone lol

Why?
They will have been rotten shells more than likely,or if they werent,as per the usual case,they will have been advertised and people with only hopes and dreams will have enquired and most probably messed the guy around as usually happens when shells are for sale.
You cant even give them away i have seen on here.

half the stuff i used to take out with hammers and prybars is now considerd "rare" as far as i WAS concerned it wasnt needed in a rally car ect

i see as many mullered novas and other cars on the grassing as on the road. you think some of the spaceframed novas e.t.c... of which most were rotten and far gone, have been given a new lease of life and often last for many more years on the grass rather than being cubed.

Very true... I brought a GTE interior off a guy who was using novas as banger racers... Full interior and seat belts etc for £50.. It was immaculate!!! Worth well over the £50 price tag and don't think he realised its true value.

your welcome to come an buy the other "rotten" shells (there really not) or even the 2 door saloons if ur pockets r deep enuf haha. an it wasnt slow!!! jus check out the youtube vid :) another one next year with a loon back end!!! ps i did try to sell the 6 mint door but all i got was tossers. :)

No.... The point i was making was that he didn't know the value of what he had... Credit it to him that he kept it immaculate and sold it on as soon as he got it but what i was trying to say was that he could of sold it for a lot more in my opinion.. I was happy though because i kept a bit of money in my pocket! :)
remember, for every nova that gets scrapped, all the remaining ones go up in value.... its how a car becomes a sought after classic
maybe i should have been more specific, rare shells in good nick, as in d reg or earlier

clearly wasnt a waste, jus ask the hundreds of ppl taking pics an the massive crowd cheering as i made it out for every race! an made it a 6 wheeler for the DD, cant wait to cut up the saloons....haha!:d

stu that van shell was goin to be a van banger!!!! i jus plated the windows of a hatch tho so its all good :) oh btw to all the numptys moaning about me cuttin up good nova's....i have a clean (real clean not png clean) 3door hatch shell with an xe engine,coilovers,disk rear beam gsi front bumper with towing eye cover, gsi skirts(white) in side is pretty much striped.
also i have a LET nova for sale with to much to list
a bolt in full roll cage
x3 2 door loons all in good condish wih minor work needed to get back on the road
and belive me when i say...WHAT EVER DOSNT SELL WILL BE CUT UP AN RACED :thumb:
