I really like the look of EVO 9 recaros for my Sr , but was wondering if anyone on here have fitted them in their nova ? And how much of a cxunt they were to fit ? If at all ? I also have a cage so that will prob make it more of a really nice relaxing procedure !!
Best measuring the height and width first before trying to fit
I'm pretty sure David Dixon used to run evo 6 front seats in his previous nova so I imagine it can be done.

width would be the main issue (not being able to get to the handbrake)

I presume they will be a similar fitment to aftermarket reclining buckets or ford rs turbo seats , has anyone experience of fitting these ? i have seen them in but dont know what was involved in getting them there , thank sall
The RS turbo style recaros are fitted in my old TD (Manta GTE retrimmed) Jacks loon (Actual ford items of some description I think?) and I believe Lynz has/had a set as well, so they definitely fit. They are literally the widest possible thing you can fit in the car though, mine were pretty much wedged against the handbrake and if you had door pockets fitted you had to slam the door against the seat for it to close. I retrimmed some door cards mk1 style and planned to run the mk1 pockets to solve that.
I hope they do fit as I've just bought a set for my Gsi, from what I can see I might have to do away with the door pocket and fill it with a bit of checker plate. Awful expensive buy if they don't fit.

I really wanted corsa VXR seats for my mk2 but I was told they were too wide, if the Evo one do fit that might be another thing to go for, let us know how you get on pal:thumb:
