Not surprised you remember Bazil, that's all you've got left from it lol
Thanks, I don't have the code plate as some clever dik removed the centre of that panel!
Flol
It'll be the only original parts left!!
I might keep the roof lol
Btw there are a few different star silvers that appeared on Astras and vectras so check your actuall paint code

Thanks, I've got my aerossol (I can feel you cringing already) for the drivers wing. Did you see on the other thread it's on the road, albeit with a new windsceen and padlocked bonnet.

Have you done it yet? If so pics of how it turned out?? Got a couple of things I need to touch up myself
I haven't done it yet, we are still on the 6th month of constant rain and wind, I thought it was only 40 days according to the bible!

I did it today, here are pics. It is ok but you can tell it's not the best job. With more care and time spent quite a good job could be made but I am not too bothered with the aesthetics of this car and at £3 for the hycote paint and less than a quarter of a can of lacquer....a cheap job that took me 30 minutes. It will do!

The colour doesn't look perfect but once it has had a day or too to dry properly perhaps it will improve but with the cheap paint and lazy job may also contribute to this.

If you not bothered on how the car looks, want to sell me your grill? I need a star silver one lol:p
Not too sad a job really...
The grill is pretty badly scratched. I hav e two other grills, blue and red but won't be able to get them until the summer. buy the hycote paint in star silver, just a few quid and it'll do a good enough job on a wee plastic grill.
