I've been searching around tinterweb for a backbox for my 2 door saloon soon to be running a c16se, i have a 4 branch, i will be buying the nova hatch decat pipe and center section.
What backbox can i fit ? ive been told that a performance hatch backbox will need extending, also that there is no on the shelf performance backboxes for a saloon.
Was thinking of a cherrybomb with a nice 2" Rolled tip if thats the case then i will be running a cat, would it be a case of chopping the joiner on the original backbox and welding it to the cherrybomb and making some brackets ?
Any help appreciated and some pics would be good

I have a nice janspeed exhaust for a saloon, 2" rolled round tip.
I would sell it for the right money as going c20xe so will have a custom stainless steel large bore exhaust made for it.
Simply extend the tailpipe. A normal hatch one will fit fine, but as the tailpipe will be short the noise will come through the boot and p!ss you off (speaking from experience here lol)

Lol jack, Paul you have pm bud
I fitted a gsi Magnex and cut the tailpipe off and welded on about about 300mm of 2'' pipe with a down swept diesel style tailpipe

I have a mild steel GSI/GTE backbox on my saloon with the tail pipe exteneded. I used a 2" outward rolled tip from a Citroen Picasso. Cheap, looks the part and has a raspy bark that seems to suit the car.
