Hi, just taxed my daily Focus after 2 months off the road.

Was fine for the first 10 or so miles, then when pressing the brake pedal it feels like the feeling you get when ABS kicks in, but happens every time you press the pedal. I've checked the calipers an re torqued them just to rule that out but can't see anything wrong with them. Bit worried as it doesn't have ABS! Any suggestions as to what it could be?

They were a tad rusty after sitting in all weathers for the last two months but wouldn't that go with a few presses of the pedal?

Will take the wheels off and check the rear face of the discs as didn't check those but the front looks fine.

yeah should do but somtimes doesnt try doing a few miles left foot braking (very lightly) this should clean them off if there not pitted/damaged

its because your used to pressing the clutch with that foot so use the same pressure on the brake pedal
