went and bought a hockley cage the otherday for the 4x4nova got it in the car today and guess what:(

it doesnt fit anywere near where it should due to completly different rear floor and suspension turrets and tubs :( should have thought of this really but heh have to make a bespoke one i guesse :mad:

have you not chopped a **** load of stuff out anyway ? maybe that goes to show how much the shell has 'adjusted' ?

and modding it to fit shouldnt be to hard

You should be able to use the main hoop and front part though surely ? Just buy some lengths of cds and make the rear bit up yourself.

yeah thats the plan just trying to find a local supplier of cds tubing at the moment

what size cds tube you used? i was looking at 1.75" or 2" with a 1-1.5mm wall....as its like £3 a meter :p

found new supplier :)

dyfed steels in newtown sell the size of tube i want in 6.5 meter lengths £29.50 +vat

(same place hockley gets his steel from and he wants £10 a meter)

I've used dyfed befor you shouldn't have a problem with them and the price sound good too

try ASD metal. they are cheaper iirc. not sure if there are any local...or if it would cost more with delivery.
