anyone have some prices and places where i can send my crank off to be checked over and a grind if needed?

closes place to me is 60 miles away

thats why im asking if anyone knows anywhere that can collect i can courier it myself but looking to see who people have used first

quick search puts border engines at berwick at 53ml.... so if I were you, i'd get the woodworking kit out & make a crank carrying box... or invest in a decent vernier/micrometer & get measuring

just gave them a call £50 to check the journals alignment and give it a polish

£100 to get it reground if needed

just phoned bill faulkner who is near me too and he says as long as theres no major scores on it just to measure it with my verniers and see what it says

just went and measured the journals and got the readings of

57.98 and 48.97 these readins were obviously +/- 0.05 as they were all the same

haynes says mains should be standard 57.982 - 57.995
big ends should be 48.970 -48.988
